He is well known and respected in the liposuction,hair transplant Plastic Surgery Fraternity in India.He has many original contributions and has been an invited Faculty in National and InterNational Conferences . Presently he is available exclusively at LA-DIVA plastic, cosmetic & Hair transplant surgery center at SAL Hospital His Mission, is to simplify plastic surgery and make the cosmetic surgical process a pleasant and satisfying experience .His vision, is to bring Cosmetic Surgery within the reach of all who need it and make it cost effective and affordable trans world. Prior to that he was for the last four years. a full time Consultant in Cosmetic& Plastic Surgery at Apollo Hospitals International Ahmedabad; Gujarat . Prior to that he was an Associate Professor with the Department of Burns & Plastic Surgery at B.J.Medical College & Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad, India. This institute is a 2000 bedded Government funded University Teaching Hospital. The Department has a30 bedded Burns Centre and a 70 bedded Plastic Surgery unit, performing a wide range of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery including Acute Burns and Post Burn reconstructions ,Polytrauma, lower limb reconstruction , Hand ,Micro & Brachial plexus surgery, Congenital anomalies including Cleft surgery . He was on a sabbatical for a year, working as a Specialist Plastic Surgeon and Teaching Faculty with Division of Aesthetic ,Plastic Reconstructive & Surgery, Prince of Wales Hospital (Chinese University of Hong Kong).During this period he had independently managed OPDs,OT"s,and teaching programme for Plastic Surgery residents and general surgery residents and MBBS students,besides attending teaching programmes /academic activities and he was appointed twice as an Examiner (Undergraduates) for the Chinese University of Hong Kong.He also actively participated in a Curriculum Retreat ( Chinese University of Hong Kong) with the focus on the New Curriculum ,Clinical Assessment Methods& Quality Improvement (Sep 2005) He was a Co-investigator for a research project titled “Towards skin reconstitution:a study of epithelial-mesenchymal(bone marrow)cell interactions in a three dimensional acellular dermal matrix” submitted to Research Grants Council (2006/2007). He pioneered the use of Autologous Bone Marrow for Wound healing in varied clinical situations and subsequently presented his technique in many National and international forums,a teaching video of his technique is available on the youtube for those who are interested and is presently engaged in the process of publishing his experience over a period of 8 years.
